Night Speaks

Night speaks to me.

Silence of the sky soothes my soul.
Watching me, the moon gazes down.
The stars, how they sparkle and shine!

I leap off the ground and plunge into the abyss.
Wrapped in a blanket of darkness,
Hidden and safe, all else dissolves.

The shadows do not frighten me.
For the light of the moon,
Chases away the evil that lurks within.

The night sings to me.
Like a siren, it entrances and stimulates my mind.
Wanting me to dance and sing back.

Suddenly, reality grabs hold.
I try to run away but it pulls me back.
My dream comes to an end.

And night speaks no more...

it was really good and I loved the end

lol i was trying to figure out this whole quote thing and I accidentaly posted the poem twice Razz

But I fixed it and added a short little poem that I found in a book a while back. Very Happy
